Richard Rohr aka DJ SALIVA was taken into music’s bane as a little boy. He started out playing guitar in a band and took his talent to the next level at the adult education center. His first contact with electronic music turned the tide of his interest in music to another direction. The impulse sent out by the vibes by various DJ’s of Ibiza’s clubs inspires Saliva until today.
It didn’t take long till the first 1210’s were a part of his life as well an enormous arsenal of selected vibes, vocals and ambients from the record store next door. His electronic beats shook many clubs like the Flex, the Volksgarten, the Passage and the Gasometer and moved the Loveparade and the Uniteparade to the next level. His spectrum is very extensive and you’ll find influences of Rock mixed with percussions and the finest House-beats guaranteeing an intoxicating club night with DJ Saliva.
Supports from international acts like Richard F, Tobi Neumann, Mark Knight, Bush2Bush, Michael Gray, Audiowhores, Seb Fontaine, Sin Plomo, Booka Shade, Kenny Dope, Denis the Menace, Angel Linde, Nigel Hayez and Eddie Amador have been part of Saliva’s unique appearance.
Together with Claudio Ricci he founded the DJ- and Event-platform MOVIMIENTO in 2002! There’s no name which would better describe their club, where you experience the highest quality and most innovative House music, DIVINE. Quality rules.. ;)
Since the beginning of 2007 Saliva started a new project: he was working closely with a group of dancers which now dance to his vibes at various contests. In the year 2008 some huge gigs at the Volksgarten, like the legendary life ball party, and some good supports at the passage with Joey Negro and Tiger Stripes made the year to an exciting one!
2009 brings a bit of changing, as he starts a new Club at the legendary Roxy Club in Vienna as a resident! His music changes more to the real groovy house tunes, but listen to it for your self…
